On July 30, at 5:00 p.m., the Bohdan and Varvara Khanenki National Museum of Art hosted a presentation of the social project and the informational poster exhibition of the same name "Find your own in the museum", implemented with the support of our partners - the company Foxtrot.
The exhibition consists of witty and touching collages, in the compositions of which real animals - dogs and cats from shelters, which have found their place in the company of heroes of famous works of the collection of the Khanenko Museum. "Interventions in masterpieces" are designed to disrupt the usual patterns of perception and show the deep inseparable connection between the highest values of life and art. And also - to remind about the huge resource of love and joy that friendship with an animal gives to a person.
"Find yours in the museum" is the first collaboration of a leading museum of world art in Ukraine with organizations and activists of the animal protection movement. Promoting the values of bioethics, responsible and humane treatment of animals, the project disseminates practical information about various ways of helping homeless animals, from supporting the activities of shelters to adoption.
