Gostomel shelter accepts homeless animals (cats and dogs) for foster care upon having free places.
The exclusive goal of the shelter is finding families for homeless cats and dogs.
1. Animals are admitted to the shelter for foster care for a period of no more than 180 calendar days.
2. Animals are admitted for foster care under the supervision, that is, under the responsibility of the person who brought the animal to the shelter for foster care.
3. The curator of the animal provides its full financing and maintenance in the shelter for the period of foster care at the expense of charitable contribution to the shelter at the rate of 50 UAH per day.
4. The curator provides full financing of veterinary costs, both mandatory (vaccination, flea and worms treatments, neutering/castration etc), and in case of illness of the animal, including, if necessary, its hospitalization to a veterinary clinic.
5. The shelter makes every effort to place an animal in a family.
6. The curator is also looking for a new family for the animal.
7. Upon expiration of 180 days, if the animal is not taken into a family, the curator undertakes to take the animal from the shelter or renegotiate the agreement for foster care for the period of 180 days.
8. The shelter has the right to deny foster care if the animal is sick, aggressive, wild or not socialized.
